Imbler Education Foundation Home
Mission & Vision
Our vision is to enhance the educational environment for students in the Imbler School District by encouraging financial giving and by providing responsible management of the Corporation's assets.
In 1912, the "Red Building" was built for $50, 000 and was the first k-12 school in Imbler, Oregon. It served as the high school until 1977, when the existing high school and gym were built.
In 1929 Wade Hall Gym was finished with a generous donation from Mrs. Wade and the help of many volunteers to complete the construction.
A new elementary school building was completed in time for the 2012-13 school year through a $4 million bond. The Red Building, Wade Hall and the east wing were all removed as part of the new construction. The Education Foundation is now working to generate funds to add a stage, storage area, and two more classrooms to the the new school.
1. Maintain a kindergarten through twelfth grade public school in the Imbler School District.
2. Support and enhance educational programs, activities, and construction of new school facilities, which are not being adequately funded by state or local government.
3. Establish long-term financial support of the Imbler School District and its students.
4. Seek funding through grants and other sources to further support the Imbler School District and it students.
